MSME WEEK UGANDA 2026
YOUR INFORMATION.
HANDLED WITH CARE.
Privacy notice for MSME Week Uganda 2026 applications.
Applications require organizer approval. Application records are retained for 365 days. Online payments and SMS are disabled. Participant registrations are open. Email acknowledgements may be delayed while delivery setup is completed.
Who is responsible for your information?
The Federation of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in Uganda (FSME) organizes MSME Week Uganda 2026 and is the data contact. Email: info@msmeweekafrica.org; phone: +256 707 229 328; address: SME House, Plot 43, Strecher Road, Ntinda.
What we collect and why
We collect contact, organization, event, category, session-interest and attendance information to review applications, communicate about the event, manage participation and check people in. Gender and age-group responses are optional and support aggregate inclusion reporting. Accessibility and dietary information is optional; share only the details needed for arrangements. Nominations and exhibition applications may include business information and supporting evidence.
Consent and optional information
Submitting a form requires consent to the stated event-processing purposes. You can leave optional fields blank. Share another person’s details only with their permission. Under-18 participation requires guardian involvement and organizer review. We do not request Mobile Money PINs or card numbers in event application forms.
Access, sharing and security
Authorized organizer staff can access applications for event administration. The website host stores application data. The form uses built-in spam checks; Cloudflare Turnstile and a dedicated SMTP service are not configured. FSME will update this notice before adding third-party services. Partners receive aggregate reporting unless a separate lawful basis and clear notice support sharing personal information. Supporting evidence is stored privately and is available only to authorized administrators. QR tickets contain a private verification link; keep them confidential.
Retention and your rights
Unpaid applications are automatically deleted after 365 days. Other records are kept only as needed for event administration, reporting or applicable legal obligations. Paid records, if any, may be retained to meet accounting or legal obligations. You may request access, correction or deletion, or withdraw consent, by contacting FSME. Withdrawal may affect our ability to administer your application. FSME will explain any records that must be retained.
Cookies, maps and international services
Essential cookies support security, forms and staff sign-in. Optional GA4 or Meta tracking, if configured, loads only after opt-in; change your choice using Cookie settings in the footer. Google Maps loads only when you choose to view it. Google Fonts is used for typography and receives standard connection information. Before third-party services are enabled for registration, FSME will identify the providers and explain any related processing outside Uganda.
Payments and communications
Online payments and SMS are currently disabled. A later payment launch will identify the payment providers and applicable terms. Application and approval emails are operational messages, not marketing subscriptions.
